Mark Sinclair has spent the last 15 years in key business development and marketing roles. Most recently, in 2005, he founded yourBusinessChannel – an online TV channel dedicated to boosting performance in business.
yBC features a whole series of themed business channels, with over 2500 videos sharing the latest proven, actionable strategies. Videos include detailed interviews with leaders from pioneering brands including Microsoft, Skype, BlackBerry, Virgin Galactic, HSBC and Cisco.
Mark and his team also work directly with clients, to develop and share video content through a network of networks – making the most of the latest advances in content sharing and Social Media.
Beyond yBC, Mark acts as an advisor to two governments and a handful of multinational clients, including SwissPost, Mishcon de Reya and BlackBerry (RIM).
In previous roles, Mark worked at senior level for a range of organisations, including the world’s largest network of headhunters and an agency that launched New Zealand’s first mobile brand for teenagers.
It’s all a far cry from Mark’s original life as a Barrister & Solicitor – but he wanted to get his teeth into something more dynamic! And today, he admits, he’s certainly hit the jackpot on that front…
Mark lives in Bristol with his wife and two young children. He’s an expert at building things with Lego and making up bedtime stories. He’s fascinated by technology – physical and web based – and wishes he had more time to ski, dive and fly light planes.
